Andrew Lowenstein

Strategic Consultant, Government Affairs

Andrew Lowenstein joined Connected Living in 2008. Previously, Andrew was VP of Business Development for Firefly Mobile, a venture backed start up that sells simplified small cell phones and related services for kids.  Andrew helped Firefly develop and implement a successful go-to-market strategy which included nationwide distribution through Target, Toys”R”Us and Cingular Wireless and international distribution through leading wireless carriers and distributors.

 

Prior to joining Firefly Mobile, Andrew was an early member of the management team of Convey Software (eTranslate.com) where he set up international operations, built an enterprise sales team and concluded deals with companies like Microsoft, GE, and eBay. 

Andrew earned M.B.A. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University (where he also taught a class on International Business Development), a B.A. from Yale University and a Certificate in Language from Leningrad State University.

Peter Nuytkens

CEO and Founder, Q Developments

Mr. Nuytkens formed and founded Q Developments – an Innovation Factory and Intellectual Property holding company in November 2008 with Group companies Q Developments’ operations are the innovation engines that develop products and technology.  LxCAM “Life experience camera and corporate asset management” is a Q Developments Group Company providing solutions and business models that integrate RFID and RTLVS technologies with data base systems. Venues include life experience camera management, strategic experience and asset management solutions.  Diagnostyx is a medical device Q Developments Group company whose mission is to “Manage Well Being”TM through its unique wireless monitoring and drug delivery system solution.

 

Peter holds multiple patents and has authored numerous publications and government reports. He graduated with a BSE with Distinction in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a MSEE in Electrical Engineering from MIT with a minor in business from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Susan Correa-Silva

Marketing Consultant

Susan Correa Silva combines her business and creative energies with her passion for the senior living industry. Susan was most recently VP of Marketing and Strategy at Connected Living. Prior to that she was Principal and Co-Founder of BANTERcreative, a branding, strategic planning and media design firm for social impact companies. She was also VP of Design Development at MVG, a national real estate developer that designed and built award-winning small-format retail structures for international corporations such as Lavazza and VoiceStream.

 

Prior to her time with MVG, Susan was Partner and Co-Founder of Chellis Silva Associates, a senior housing consulting firm based in Wellesley, MA. In 2001 Susan also organized and ran the national conference “Redefining Retirement Communities: Innovations for a New Generation of Seniors.” She serves as Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Springhouse Retirement Community.

 

Susan has a BSE in Entrepreneurial Management from Wharton and a Master in Architecture from Harvard where she was President of the Harvard Graduate Council.
